Rookesmith’s is a husband-and-wife team specialising in traditional lime and modern gypsum plastering, alongside high-quality interior painting and decorating. We take on projects of all sizes, from a single room to managing complete renovations of older properties and new builds.

We have specialist experience in traditional lime plastering and take care to use suitable materials and methods for older properties. Our gypsum plastering creates smooth, durable finishes for modern homes and new builds. Our interior decorating includes thorough surface preparation and repairs, followed by painting walls, ceilings and woodwork, with care taken at every stage to achieve a lasting, beautifully finished result.

Alongside our main services, we offer repointing, small bricklaying jobs, small plaster repairs and basic carpentry, including doors, skirting boards and cupboards.

We’re passionate about our work and take pride in every project. We pay close attention to detail and treat every home with respect throughout the work. Fully equipped and fully insured, we provide a reliable, professional service.
