Rookesmiths - Odd Jobs and Maintenance

Anthony did a great job repairing our garden fence. This was a good couple of days work which involved replacing fence posts, fitting new stakes & drilling through concrete. 

Good consistent communication & the cost for materials decreased as he needed fewer stakes then he initially thought.

Would definitely work with Anthony again & have asked to complete another job for us. Thanks!

Anthony has done two jobs for me in the garden - digging out a patch of ground and building a breeze block wall. He is very easy to get hold of and communication is excellent. He turned up on time and left everything clean and tidy. He made sure I was completely happy with the work before he finished. His work is reasonably priced and good value. 

I will definitely use him again.

Anthony worked very hard to fit my cat flap today and even though he had some challenges, due to my cheapo door, he persevered and made adjustments until it was right. He’s very honest and came and told me that he would have to use different screws and wouldn’t be able to plug all the holes. This wasn’t his fault though and purely because the door was rubbish. I reassured him this was fine. Poor bloke was here ages trying to make it 100% right. A real perfectionist. I like that he was so honest and explained the problem and that he could solve it. Cat flap works perfectly just got to teach the cats to use it now lol. Very tidy afterward. He tried to knock money off for the 2 non-matching screws but I wouldn’t let him, as he worked really hard, he was honest about the problems. I could see it wasn’t down to him that the problem occurred, therefore he deserved to be paid for the work he did. Job well done.

Thank you ANTHONY you have changed my bedroom space and now I can hang my clothes and stuff from everywhere else hidden away.

I have to say that Rookesmith’s odd jobs and maintenance I would highly recommend. A great job done, considering the challenge of a wonky council house wall, nothing straight. I am beyond happy. 10 STARS thank you Anthony.😀
